Spend Time planting a tree from us

You may be aware that in 2021, Spend Time signed the UK Government's SME Climate Commitment to reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2030 (although we hope to achieve this now).

Each year, we calculate our carbon emissions and thanks to our working practices which incorporate, for example, a paperless office, low energy devices and sustainable modes of transport where possible, we are pleased our emissions are consequently much lower than a typical office-based firm.

Having said that, we acknowledge there is still more we can do and have a strong desire to go further to make a difference to the world around us. This year we calculated our carbon footprint for 2023 to be 8 tonnes of CO2.

We understand we can never eliminate all our emissions, though we would if we could. So, we are looking to offset the emissions we cannot eliminate by offering our clients a gift of a special Spend Time Tree to look after and nurture.

To offset our 8 tonnes of CO2 we are offering 8 beautiful trees to our clients, on a first come first served basis.

Each recipient will be able to choose between evergreen or deciduous tree to suit their garden or other special place. The tree will be between 30-75cm tall initially and this will be delivered straight to your doorstep in an attractive jute drawstring bag this Autumn, with a tree planting guide. Then you can plant your new tree and watch it flourish and grow.

If you would be interested in receiving a Spend Time Tree, as a gift from us to you, to help us achieve our goal of net zero CO2, please email Vicki at vicki@spendtime.co.uk who will then be in touch to arrange a tree of your choice to be delivered at a time that is convenient to you.
